Drop off & pick up:

From Monday through to Friday's we meet you at the same central location for pickup and drop off. Just like kids going to school, we will meet you and welcome your fur baby to the Ruff Pack for the day. We meet at Dog Leash Free Park, 31 Cootamundra Dr, Mountain Creek QLD 4557 between 7:45-8:30am each morning and will see you again for pick up between 5:00-5:45pm.

What is the 'Ruff Pack'?

That's what we call the group of dogs we take out for the day! The Ruff Pack is a vetted group of dogs that play well together. We have checked every four legged snoot that joins us, to make sure they play well with other like minded pups. The Ruff Pack look out for each other. They are a group of dogs that trust each other and learn from each other. Our pack is perfect for dogs with anxiety or for a shy pup that needs a bit of socialisation.

What happens if I don't make pickup?

We get it. The traffic can be bad, or a meeting can run late. Whatever the reason, don't panic. We will wait another 5-10minutes for you! Your fur baby will be in safe hands until we can meet you. If something has gone terribly wrong and you can't meet us, we can keep your fur baby for an emergency stay (or as we like to call it a pawsome slumber party). An emergency stay will incur a $120 fee which will include a secure spot for the following day's All Day Adventure & Walk. A warm bed will be supplied as well as dinner and a continental breakfast in the morning based on your pup's size and weight.

Our transport:

We have a fully kitted out woof mobile that has been professionally fitted out for your dogs needs. We can safely take up to 15 dogs at a time. Your dog will be comfortable and safe in our air conditioned van.

We send you photos:

Check out how much fun your fur baby is having by looking on our socials @hooperruff. We will also send some super cute material from time to time on the mobile you registered with us.

What do we do if it is raining?

Our service will always go ahead on wet days! We have plenty of places to go and enjoy the puddles and (hopefully avoid) the mud.

What do we do on a really hot day?

If it is a hot day, we head to cooler locations to play and explore. We also have cool shaded areas and water based areas to relax in. Ice blocks and plenty of water are supplied all day in summer months. Staying hydrated and having fun is our top priority.

Can I change my booking?

Yes you can! You can change your booking up until 24 hours beforehand. Email us at info@hooperruff.com to let us know what dates you want changed.

What if I want a refund?

Of course you can have a refund. We will refund you for a variety of reasons, depending on the circumstances. We will issue a refund if you change your mind and give us 24 hours notice before the service occurs. We cannot issue a refund if the service has been carried out. Refunds will be in your bank account within 3-5 business days. If you want a refund, contact us on info@hooperruff.com

What if I don't show up?

We get it. Sometimes there is an emergency or you might simply forget you made a booking! We will use discretion and issue a $15 no show fee. We will refund you the rest of your booking. Contact us at info@hooperruff.com to organise a partial refund.

Vaccinations are up to date:

We only take dogs that have their vaccinations up to date.

What happens if my dog is injured?

We stay away from crowded dog parks. We do this for a number of reasons. The first being, we have an amazing list of the BEST kept secret dog locations to explore each and every day. Our dog pack is vetted and each dog is met before joining us with a free intro to check any behavioural issues. In the very rare chance that your dog is injured we will administer first aid and notify you straight away. Your dogs safety is our top priority which is why we always have a dog first aid kit accessible at all times.

If not us, make sure you...

If you choose to use another doggie day care we totally understand. Before you go we urge you to ask them a few questions before going ahead:

  • Ask to see a police check
  • Ask how long they have been in business for
  • Check their transport - are they set up for dogs?
  • Do they have a first aid kit?
  • A good dog walker will meet with you for a free assessment before agreeing to take your dog on. Top dog walkers will have a set or questions or even a form for you to fill out
