We have you covered. It's simple to assemble new hardware and only takes a few minutes. We will send out your new hardware and an instruction manual on how to replace the hardware on your Hooper Ruff products.

 

Why Choose Plated Hardware:

Nickel is often used as a plating material over other types of metal, such as brass or steel. While the plating can provide some protection against corrosion, it can wear off over time, exposing the underlying metal to the elements and increasing the risk of rust and corrosion. Nickel one of the most popular hardware types for cheaper leashes on the market.

 

This is our entry level hardware and whilst durable and long lasting - it is not waterproof. If you have an active dog or one that is in and around water, we highly recommend our waterproof hardware.


                  


  • Plated Hardware:  Perfect for indoor and low-maintenance dogs, with upgrade options available. It may require more maintenance. Doesn't tolerate salt water and could be less durable than solid metal options.
    
  • Silicone Hardware:                     Ideal for dogs that occasionally enjoy water and the park, however not suitable for very active dogs.  Offers durability and waterproof properties. This hardware is delicate does scratch when in dense bushland.
    
  • Brass Hardware:                               Perfect for active dogs who like rough play, regular swims, playing in water and bushland. Is resistant to rust and corrosion, ensuring that the hardware remains in good condition even in humid or wet environments.

OUR HASSLE-FREE RETURNS POLICY:
You are entitled to a refund for items you purchase from Hooper Ruff if the item is:
  • Faulty and the fault or defect was not pointed out to you before you purchased it or would not have been apparent to you when you inspected the goods before purchase; or
  • Not 'of merchantable quality', meaning that it is not of the quality that you reasonably expected when you purchased it, bearing in mind the way the item was described to you before your purchase and also the price of the item; or
  • Not fit for its purpose, meaning that the item does not do what you reasonably expected it would,
 
And you return the item within a reasonable time (14 days) after purchase and provide Hooper Ruff with proof of purchase, such as your original Hooper Ruff receipt or bank statement. If you do not return the item within a reasonable time, you will not be entitled to a refund of the purchase price but you will be entitled to exchange the goods or have them repaired.
 
Hooper Ruff reserves the right to ask you to demonstrate that you did not cause or create the fault in the item.

If you are entitled to a refund but you would prefer to exchange the item of equivalent value to the item, Hooper Ruff is happy to exchange instead of a refund.
